Heatwave alert: warm weather tomorrow morning, then getting fresh in the afternoon & overnight. After a fresh start Thursday, getting warm in the afternoon and more warm overnight. Hot on Friday. Cooling gradually on Saturday, then cold on Sunday with rain showers, heavy on altitudes.

Wednesday 13-Mar-13: Some clouds, warm in the morning, then more fresh in the afternoon & overnight.
Thursday 14-Mar-13: Fresh early morning, then more warm in the afternoon & overnight.
Friday 15-Mar-13: Overcast & HOT, turning fresher late overnight.
Saturday 16-Mar-13: A fresh start early, then colder weather. Rain/hail showers, heavy on altitudes.
Sunday 17-Mar-13: Windy & rainy, with sun breaks, heavy rain/hail showers on altitudes. Snowy in the morning at 1700M, then in the afternoon at 1600 & at 1400M overnight. Little accumulation.
Monday 18-Mar-13: Some rain showers ending, then partly cloudy weather. Fresh to cold overnight.

0-2: low; no protection needed
3-5: medium; sunglasses & hat required
6-7: high; sunglasses & hat required, reduce time in the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
8-10: very high; take extra precautions, unprotected skin will be damaged, minimize sun exposure between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., seek shade, cover up, wear a hat and sunglasses, and use sunscreen.
11+: extreme; stay indoor.
إذا تفحّصنا السجّلات القديمة في الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت نرى أنّ الحرارة القصوى التي رأيناها في آذار كانت 33.5 أمّا القصوى العادية في الشهر نفسه فكانت 26.2 ومعدّل الحرارة القصوى اليومية في آذار 19.3. مع العلم أنّ متوسّط الحرارة في هذا الشهر هو 15.8
